Unitarian Universalists are united by a conviction that beliefs and values must be expressed in action or they are empty. We are committed to raising our voices against injustice, standing on the side of love, and acting together in community as agents of change.

In the Dunn County area, our commitment to our beliefs leads our members to work in the following social action projects, as we seek to help build a better world for all.

Here are examples of our many activities:

* Packing food bags for school children to take home on weekends through Stepping Stones of Dunn County.
* Recording books for the blind.
* Support of the Citizens Action Organizing Cooperative of Western Wisconsin
* Supporting two families each year through Christmas for Kids.
* Cleaning our two mile stretch of a local highway through Adopt-A-Highway.
* Helping staff our local drop-in winter homeless shelter.
* Attending and testifying at meetings where Concentrated Animal Feeding Operations (CAFOs) threaten groundwater.
* Assisting at Thursday’s Table, a free community meal each week.
* Serving in leadership roles with the Farmer To Farmer cooperative with central America.
* Helping pack senior commodity boxes monthly for West CAP
* Board membership on the Friends of the Menomonie Public Library, and assisting with its annual fundraising book sale.
* Encouraging enhanced bicycle and pedestrian opportunities through the Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Committee
* Serving in leadership roles with the local Sierra Club
